Shipping policy
Orders shipped will be prepared for shipment indicated per the listing's turnaround time, with additional time required for delivery. Orders with only vessels or accessories will ship slightly quicker. If you purchase items with varying turnaround times, it will ship with altogether with the item that has the longest turnaround time. Typically, collars & leashes take longer than accessories and training aids. Times are all estimates.
While we always strive to ship orders as quickly as possible, delivery timelines are not guaranteed due to factors outside of our control, including carrier delays.
Free shipping
- Canada & USA: The free shipping promo is available over $125 CAD and $100 USD and is automatically offered when the threshold is met. It does not include Gift Cards or tax.
Where do you ship to and ship from?
- We ship from Canada. Currently we ship to Canada, USA, UK, Australia, Hungary, France and Finland automatically at check out on the website. For info on duties and tariffs, see below.
- For other countries not listed, contact us and we can look into arranging it manually.

We ship outside of Canada to select countries and want you to know exactly what to expect, no surprises. Below, you’ll find details about shipping, duties, and fees for each destination we serve. This way, you’ll always know how your order will be handled from checkout to delivery.

USA: We’ve updated our structure and operations so that you can enjoy stress-free shopping with us! Our products are wholly sourced in North America and made in Canada so we are tariff-free. Items not sourced in North America will not display to you on the website.

- Australia: Duty is exempt on goods valued at 1,000 AUD or less, and no GST is charged. These policies are subject to change. It is your responsibility to contact your local authorities to confirm the information. The information listed here is provided for guidance only.
- United Kingdom: Duty is exempt on goods valued at €135 (including shipping) or less; however, Value-Added Tax (VAT) is still charged regardless of the shipment's value. For all other countries outside of Canada: Orders may be subject to customs duties, tariffs, VAT, and other import fees. These charges are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the customer. Fees vary by destination country, and Nose and Hearts Scentwork Supplies is not responsible for any additional charges incurred during shipping.
Shipping, Duties and Pickup
- Canada Post Tracked Packet USA/Canada Post Expedited Parcel/Canada Post Tracked Packet International - We use a combination of UPS, Canada Post and/or a shipping solution called Chit Chats that is 100% Canadian owned & operated with locations across Canada and has been around since 2001. They work closely with partner carriers like Canada Post (When not on strike), DragonFly,(Canada), USPS (USA), Ascendia (Australia & other international countries) and there may be other small carriers etc. who handle the delivery for the last mile. Delivery times are based on the standard times found at those Partner Carriers' websites or retail locations.
- Canada only: If your tracking shows Chit Chats as the courier, they may partner with GTAGSM, which is actually a courier called Dragon Fly. You may receive separate emails from Dragon Fly with updates or use their website for tracking. Alternatively, Chit Chats may use Canada Post or other third-party couriers, which will be more clearly indicated than GTAGSM
- Labour issues and disruptions with Canada Post: We will use the above aforemtioned when this occurs to ensure reliable shipping. For untracked, we still continue to use Canada Post unless you let us know.

Untracked Shipping - An affordable option is offered on select products. Although it is untracked, it offers a great value to our customers. We use Canada Post for Canada. If there is a service disruption ie strike, this option will be temporarily disabled
- If you want to ensure delivery, consider purchasing tracked shipping.
- Delivery times are based on the standard times found at respective websites or retail locations. Please understand the risks with untracked letter mail. See lost/stolen policy below.
- Ensure to choose the correct delivery method. I.e If you choose the wrong method, there will be a small admin fee to correct the shipping

Gift cards
- Immediate delivery for Online Gift cards. They are all digital and are delivered to the purchaser via email immediately. Check spam and junk. If you have not received it, reach out to noseandhearts@gmail.com with your first name, last name and email you used at check out.

- Each product has a unique turnaround in the product listing as it varies product to product.
- We reserve the right to change those turnaround times at any time as it all really depends on the volume of orders we receive and other variables.
- If there are multiple products ordered to one address with different delivery times, the products will ship/be ready all together with the product with the longest delivery time
- If you have a custom product that is 'off the menu', the delivery time may have been discussed during order creation. Please refer back to our email or message history.
Lost or stolen packages, uncontrollable events
- Nose and Hearts Scentwork Supplies is not responsible for shipments that are lost by the shipping agent or stolen in transit or at their final destination, tracked or untracked.
- If there is an issue with your parcel, check your tracking number (if purchased) and confirm your mailing address or contact the shipping company.
- We aim for timely delivery, but certain events beyond our control—such as severe weather, natural disasters, or labor disruptions—may cause delays. If your shipment is impacted, first, try to contact the mail carrier with the tracking information (if applicable). Otherwise, contact us and we will support you as best as we can and work together towards a solution. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
